Description

Darebin’s new Intercultural Centre by Sibling Architecture is a rich new community facility designed to embrace the people of Darebin. Aspiring to foster meaningful and constructive inter-racial, inter-cultural and inter-faith relationships, the vibrant and inspiring space was steered by community consultation groups, Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung elders and a strong and compassionate team of consultants.

‘The vibrant material palette is deliberately diverse, representing a collage of communities fitting in harmoniously together while retaining bold identities on their own’ says Sibling Architecture.

The incredibly rich colour zones have been created with bright tones in our Ecoustic SC panels + Ecoustic Felt textiles upholstered to custom scalloped walls and operable walls, providing the spaces with ever-changing flexibility.
